Neighborhood Information

Gudang Subdistrict is under the jurisdiction of Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the northern part of Xihu District, with a permanent population of 40,000 and a total area of 4.64 square kilometers. This includes a temporary population of up to 80,000. Currently, Gudang Subdistrict has 10 urban communities, 2 equity economic cooperatives, and 30 direct party organizations. Among them, there are 10 community party committees, 2 equity economic cooperatives party committees, 15 party organizations of non-public enterprises directly under the subdistrict, 1 party general branch for institutions and public institutions, 1 retired branch for retired cadres, and 1 branch for retired veteran cadres. There are also 90 secondary branches, with nearly 2,000 registered party members and 34 volunteer teams consisting of 696 party members. Over the years, the subdistrict has been awarded various honorary titles, including provincial demonstration organization of overseas Chinese federations, advanced grassroots party organizations in Hangzhou for united development, co-construction, and assistance to households, advanced collective for military-civilian integration work in Hangzhou, demonstration point for grassroots party construction in Xihu District, and demonstration point for distance education and good learning and application in the district.
