The subdistrict benefits from convenient transportation facilitated by the Shanghai-Hangzhou, Zhejiang-Jiangxi, and Hangzhou-Ningbo railways, the Beijing-Hangzhou, Zhejiang-Eastern Zhejiang, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo, and Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou expressways, as well as the Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.
