Hehong village in Ninghaicounty, Ningbo,Zhejiang province, has transformed into a bustling hub thanks to young entrepreneurs like Da Bing. She hasconvertedthree old farmhouses into a popular leisure spotoffering handmade dumplings, coffee, and Thai-style pancakes, which generated over 1 million yuan ($140,948) in revenue in just 100 days.

Hehong village, with a population of over a thousand, now hosts more than 20 young entrepreneurs who are operating over 10 new businesses, from campsites to wood-fired bakeries. These efforts have turned the village into a popular tourist destination in eastern Zhejiang.

During this year's eight-dayNational Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the village saw daily visitor numbers exceed 10,000, with nearly 80percentbeing young tourists.

This influx is supported by Ninghai's tourism project subsidy program, which provides rewards up to one million yuan to attract professional teams for rural development.

The village has partnered with Shieryi Cultural Tourism to enhance its appeal through the "YoungEntrepreneursto Countryside" program. This initiative provides training and investment funds for young entrepreneursand helps themby standardizing rental prices tolowertheirstartup costs.

New ventures, like Liu Jin's artisanal pizza shop, thrive by blending local flavors with innovative recipes, achieving monthly revenues over 30,000 yuan.

According to local officials, these young entrepreneurs bring creativity and energy, boosting residents' incomes through property rentals and service participation.
