Park Introduction & History

Known locally as Hangzhou's "mini Disneyland," the amusement park at Hangzhou Youth & Children's Center is one of the most popular spots by West Lake. Mrs. Hu, a long-time staff member, recalled: "When I started working here in 1987, there were only 2 rides. After the park was fully completed in 1990, it became the city's hottest amusement spot—kids would queue until sunset!"

Today, the park has over a dozen carnival games. Ticket prices have grown from 0.1 yuan per ride (at opening) to a maximum of 5 yuan per ride. "This park is full of my childhood memories," shared a young mother visiting with her child.

Preparation Before Playing

To enjoy the rides, you first need to apply for a pass card at the on-site service center. The minimum recharge amount is 50 yuan, which includes a 10-yuan deposit (refundable when returning the card after use).

Popular Attraction: Mini Ferris Wheel

The mini Ferris wheel in the center of the park is a fan favorite—it offers a panoramic view of West Lake, letting kids and parents enjoy the lake's beauty while riding. It’s also a great spot for taking family photos!

Transportation Guide

Public transportation is recommended due to limited parking spaces. Here are the convenient options:

• Special Bus Route: Links Fengqi Road Metro Station (Exit F) and the park’s north gate. First bus from the park: 8:10, last bus: 18:00; reverse route (Fengqi Road Metro Station): first bus 8:00, last bus 17:55.
• Regular Buses: Bus No.6, No.7, No.16, No.27, No.78, No.118 (get off at "Children's Place (少年宫)" Station).
