Hangzhou Grand Canal Music Park Completes Construction, to Open by Year-End

A New Cultural Landmark for Music Exchange & Art Performances Along the Grand Canal

Hangzhou Grand Canal Music Park has recently completed construction and is expected to open to the public by the end of this year. As a key component of the Hangzhou Grand Canal National Cultural Park, the music park is strategically located along the Grand Canal, north of Shixiang Road (石祥路), covering a total area of nearly 30,000 square meters.

Centered on the theme of "Cultural Exchange and Music Experience", the park integrates multiple functional zones: lush green landscape areas for leisure, a sunken square for open-air activities, terraced landscape platforms offering canal views, and a specially designed multifunctional building (planned for indoor music events, art exhibitions, and performance preparations). Upon opening, it will serve as a public cultural stage, hosting both indoor and outdoor music exchanges, art exhibitions, and live performances—enriching the cultural life of residents and visitors alike.
